The demise of Fmovies, Aniwave, and other big-brand pirate sites, has former users asking the same question: Are they really gone forever?

I really don’t know the architecture of fmovies but my guess is that it works similarly to sudo-lol but with specific providers instead of a long list of available providers.

Even still, I’ve wondered how those providers load new content since I’ve never seen a way for end users to upload new files.

Shows like Last Week Tonight get uploaded almost the same day.

Anyway, to answer your question, I think fmovies is back with their .lol tld though I’ve moved over to sudo.

There’s always going to be a replacement because clearly there’s a market for it. If only the people who actually hold the rights would realize that.

It took me like 5 minutes to find an alternative to Aniwave. It follows the exact same format and everything.

In my experience it’s like a game of whac-a-mole. One website goes down and another takes it’s place. I’m not worried.

Honestly, I’ve seen it compared to the mythical Greek hydra. Every time a site is taken down it is replaced by multiple clones. This has happened with many sites and pirate groups and everything else.

As long as there are pirates, it won’t be stopped.

Yes, people have had these existential crisis moments about piracy for many years. Just a couple of notable examples within my lifetime were the many issues of The Pirate Bay in the 2000s, the closure of KickassTorrents in the 2010s and RARBG’s shutdown last year. People panicked over the initial DeezLoader and YouTube Vanced project shutdowns too. Every single time, without fail, something new rises up whether it’s a direct clone or something entirely new. It’s not always as good initially, but I can’t really say any of these “crackdowns” have had a significant effect from my perspective.
