I use NewPipe on regular Android but read somewhere it wasn’t recommended to be used on Android TV because it wasn’t designed for it. If you vouch for it working fine then maybe I’ll try it.

Now that’s more like it. However for android Android (phone, tablet) I already have NewPipe I’m happy with. Does FreeTube work well on Android TV? I use SmartTube and it’s good but it’s not perfect.

Exactly. In Poland that would be legal because it’s personal use with close circle (family, friends). It’s legal to download a copyrighted media file that’s been shared online and share it within that close circle but not share it publicly or to larger groups. So downloading a copyrighted file via torrent is still illegal because you are simultaneously sharing the file with wide audience.

The regulation roughly translates to ‘fair use’ and there need to be similar laws on other countries as well, at least for the download part. You should be free to assume that whoever put a media you see online had the right to do so (if they didn’t, they broke the law but not you by downloading). If downloading a copyrighted media file was illegal then visiting any website would be a crime because they contain media (images, videos) that our browsers automatically download in order to display them.

This does not apply to software.

Browsers also keep the bookmarks locally with an option to sync. You can export/import them too if needed. Sorry, still not seeing an added value of an external bookmark manager.

On linux, connections can have some weird names so you need to figure out the name of your VPN connection.

In qBittorrent go to Settings > Advanced > Network Interface and see what connections are available. Then connect to VPN and see what new connection appeared on the interfaces list - it will be the VPN you just connected to, possibly “tun0”. Select it and you’re good.

Nobody forced them to do that. Some people just do things out of passion. I actually prefer those. It’s not all about money. They probably wouldn’t say ‘no’ to a paycheck from Bethesda but on the other hand they never promised them that or signed any contracts so I don’t see a reason they should be expected to do that.

On another note, we have an example of Malukah who was hired to perform as bard in ESO so that’s pretty cool and well deserved.
