This looks super neat but I don’t really like the idea of sending my shell history to a third party, nor can I host my own server right now.
Wish it was peer-to-peer like Syncthing

They’ll switch from Chrome to Cryptocurrency flavored Chrome and think all is well in the world.

Cracking Denuvo is hard as fuck!
No matter how unhinged she is, she’s very talented.

Op… She said she will return AFTER her MMO is ready and is going well.
That won’t happen. There’s no way it doesn’t get stuck in development hell. She’s never coming back.

Man, what a joke Reddit has become after the 3rd party exodus, seems like most good subs went to shit.

ClownStrike

A fitting rename after such a pathetic and catastrophic failure, that’s for sure.

Ah, so search a couple of domains and sit on their page for a while making random mouse movements and scrolls then? Got it.

My guess is: Got IP Address from Reddit, asked ISP for data.

I’ve seen this type of thing reported so many times, seems like ISPs will give out your data willy-nilly if someone so much as looks at them funny

If they come up with some way to make it as hard as possible for the buyers to share these cracked games among them, they could make a lot of money with this.

DRM for Piracy? Disastrous

On the cracked severs I used to play, they used to have a plugin that would make users register a password when they first visited and type it on all subsequent logins, to protect users’ accounts.

Thanks for the recommendation, only thing keeping me on RealVNC Android was the better UI 🙏

I’m always incredibly skeptical of these super easy “all in one” solutions. Would rather do the work myself just to make sure.

Miniflux is a minimalist and opinionated feed reader

I’ve been using it for a month or two now, so far it’s one of the best RSS readers I’ve used. Highly recommend.

How embarrassing, I double checked their Github and still managed to miss Android support 🤦‍♂
Thanks for the correction.

Ah, and here I was thinking installing addons from file was impossible on Android. Thanks!

Unfortunately the only functional iOS emulator for games I’ve ever seen is TouchHLE, though that’s only for PCs and rather experimental at the moment.

She scrum on my master until I… agile???

Ah. Man, if I were in their place I’d get rid of any and all means of communication.
Idiots can’t send you rude messages if they can’t even e-mail you.

Nice but also kinda worrying no? What is up with this private-unprivate dance?

Subbing for a month, then downloading Gigabytes of properly tagged FLACs doesn’t sound too bad tbh

Yeah, same question. I thought most of them would be super strict about torrreting.

Not gonna lie, I thought it already worked like this.
As long as the lifetime licenses continue to be a thing, it’s great.

The Naomi situation is ridiculous. Such a nice person with amazing stories to tell and things to do being swept under the rug like it’s nothing

I suppose the solution would be having people tag a soundbite at the beginning and at the end of each ad slot. Then when the app “hears”, the beginning soundbite it can just skip forward until it finds the ending one.

That’s not a proper Bedrock port however, it’s the Android version with some patches on top. It requires you to own Minecraft on the Play Store in order to use it.

The fact that Bedrock is not available on MacOS and Linux irks me to no end.

Is this just a feature of piracy?

Nope! It’s just that the only way to acquire a movie exclusively released at the cinemas requires people to go there and record it with their phones/cameras, and since you can get caught and fined for doing that, the only people doing it nowadays are those sponsored by those super shady betting websites… fair enough I suppose.
Once the movie makes its way to streaming services (or to Bluray/DVD) you’ll be able to get a high quality copy without any crap baked in.

Now, specifically about Saw X: There are rumors it will hit Streaming sometime in October, but I haven’t found a reliable source to quote about this.
If you are absolutely DYING to watch it, there’s the “Will1869” release, which has all the ads removed, but unfortunately has a watermark bouncing around on the screen.
There’s also the “Telesync.x264.Dual.YG” release, it comes with dual English/Spanish audio, has no watermarks and a single, audio-only ad on one of the quieter scenes, but has rather muffled audio and the post-credit scene is in awful quality, so… unless you can live with the watermark or the muffled audio you might just have to wait until the Streaming release comes. Hope this helps!

Any dissidents in places like China who are caught using it could then plausibly claim they were just downloading a movie.

You really think that would stick? Just a couple days ago there was a news article of a guy getting sued for using a VPN for remote work

Just pirate music since I have a subscription and am entitled to listen to music?

Yup.
You can get DRM-Free music from Bandcamp and I know some artists also offer DRM-Free purchases on their Merch Stores if you’d rather properly buy your music.

I would just set up a separate VM for each of them and let them SSH/VNC in. Don’t think they’ll be doing anything that requires them to destroy and recreate their Virtual Machines constantly right?

Since it’s a Linux box, you could try to sandbox your player with Firejail or a Flatpak + Flatseal. Just for a little bit of extra peace of mind.
