This really won’t change anyone’s opinion, but I’ll try anyways:
if the reason you pirate is because you do not want to encourage shitty practices that have been developing in the game industry, please consider purchasing this game. larian studios has done this the “right” way, in my opinion. that being said, no judgement towards those who will pirate anyways.
Instead of pirating I will wait for a sale but Larian has done 0 regional pricing, which is something I value and I wish it wasn’t so rare these days.
If it is worth it. I’ll buy it eventually. But I don’t want to be in a phase of regret.

I often treat game releases like extended demos, if I play them enough and think the cost is justified I’ll buy or grab at the next sale.
With the gaming industries increasing prices, piracy is the best way to sample a game, much like the old music stores would allow you to listen to tracks in store before purchasing. No one wants to plop down $70 and get a turd.
Also, we pirates are saving older games the gaming industry no longer want to support or offer. ARRRRRRHH!!!
