RCMP told CTV News they were called by number of people who said they were trapped on the mountain following the shut down.
A power outage reported by Fortis Alberta is believed to be the cause, but no details have been confirmed.
There is a visitor building and restaurant at the top, I expect they all crammed into it. Hopefully no one was left in a gondola car.
Got to 9 C overnight in town of Banff, would have been much colder up on the mountaintop.

Yeah, that would suck so bad with that many people. Though, I suppose that’s how they got up to the visitor centre in the first place.
