I own a fire stick and I’m considering selling it and buying an hdmi cable in order to connect my PC to the TV.
But before doing that I’m curious, if I were to install KODI on the FireStick TV, where does the app/device actually store my pirate videos such as TV series, anime etc.?
Also, if you do know how to use closed captions I’d really appreciate it because a big reason of me using netflix on fire stick and paying for the service were subtitles to improve my English.
I just realized chrome can do that on any video, that’s why I’m really considering to just connect my personal computer to my television and stream pirated content from any platform.

I use 9anime but I don’t see a downlod button) and host them on a server, when I can just insert the hdmi cable into a TV and sell the fire stick. I’d like that, it has a remote as well, but it’s a lot of work and I’ve such a little amount of time available lately :(

Quite a rabbit hole but you can look at bazarr which can be integrated with radarr (movies), sonarr (tv).
But Kodi also has a facility to download subs on the fly, as long as you set the sources.
