Popular shadow library LibGen continues to face trouble. In addition to ongoing technical problems, a U.S. lawsuit resulted in several domain suspensions and seizures in recent weeks. To top it off, the shadow library was just added to Germany’s pirate site blocking list, making it harder to access the remaining domains.

Oh dear. Could it perhaps be hosted in a decentralised way? Like ipfs or torrents or something?
There are already Torrents with the raw data and they’ve used IPFS in the past, but decided it was not ready https://annas-archive.org/torrents (They pool multiple shadow libraries)
Annas archive is not LibGen.
But they include it, as I’ve written it 🙄
They do. It’s still a different project by different people. That’s the nice part about it.
There should be all of LibGen corpus pinned on IPFS and there used to be a front end hosted on IPFS but I have not looked at it in a while.
