I’m hoping that Nintendo’s consistently shitty behavior makes the general public realize that stanning for developers is better than stanning for companies
Personally I’d recommend supporting indie devs as they’re closer to “locally produced” than triple-A dev entities like Ubisoft, EA, Nintendo
As it seems to work for Japan, it might be worth a try or at least some time investment to see if the system is sustainable
