The psychology of a right wing politician or media head is very different from your typical right wing shit poster, or average republican voter, and you should be careful lumping them all in together as a vague “they.”
You aren’t wrong. I didn’t really want to plunge the depths of depravity to really explain or understand it though. The smart fascists and nazis are quite good at manipulating the stupid ones, hence why they work endlessly to misinform and to dismantle education.
