The heads of Canada’s biggest grocers met in Ottawa on Monday after the Liberal government summoned them to come up with a plan to ‘stabilize’ food inflation.

Thank you for the suggestion, we’ll look into it, unfortunately it might take many many months and our research may be inconclusive.

Also, the committee we convened to look into this very important issue cost $1.4 million so we have to adjust our prices to reflect the new financial burden we’ve taken on like the heroes that we are.
