On Monday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford held forth on the topic of homelessness, repeating his long-articulated view that many of those receiving government support should be working.

“Get an application and drop it off (at) one of these companies and start working, you need to start working if you’re healthy — bottom line — if you’re unhealthy, I’ll take care of you the rest of my life, your life, we’ll take care of you,” the premier said.

“But if you’re healthy, get off your A-S-S and start working like everyone else is.”

What about the damned millionaires and billionaires who never want to pay their fair share but somehow are gifted benefits for their businesses by government all the time.

Welfare is a problem in every first world system

It’s not the bottom of the poorest using up the welfare money in a country

It’s the top wealthiest people who don’t want to pay their fair share yet also want to take more out of the government just because they can.
