I’ve read the articles, and their demands are reasonable:
First, they are arguing Canadian citizens in Gaza have been left to fend for themselves to escape and the Canadian government have imposed no restrictions on Canadian citizens to take part in the Israeli assaults.
Second, they argue the Canadian government is failing its duty to honor the 1948 genocide convention.
The good news from this is that it might force the government to explain why what’s happening in Gaza cannot be considered a genocide, so we will see their true colors, documented for all posterity…. Or, they will have to admit it is indeed genocide, and measured have to be taken.
All in all, I guess the article title is sensationalist but the essence of the lawsuit is warranted.
