Anybody who understands copyright law will never use a self written license. Although another commenter has said the license does have a standard author. Therefore, the creative work is not merely licensed under public domain. I’m not providing legal advice, so you’ll have to do your own research.
Some countries won’t allow you to declare your work to be in the public domain (although Canada isn’t one of them). Declaring it CC-0 does about the same thing while working around that issue.
