Montana State Library Commission votes to withdraw from national association
“Our oath of office and resulting duty to the Constitution forbids association with an organization led by a Marxist,” read the language the commission voted to send to the ALA.
Neat trick considering that said document predates and therefore has no concept of Marxism.
I’m very curious as to how the same Constitution that can’t keep up with upgrades in arms tech over time was able to ban consorting with Marxists when Marx himself wouldn’t be born for decades. Neat trick. Also, have these people read founding father Thomas Paine? Pretty sure he and Marx would have hung out and shot the shit if they had the chance. (I don’t mean the librarians. I have no doubt they were forced into this, for the most part. They, I assume, have read a book.)
