Get you a VPN, seems like the go-tos these days are airvpn and protonvpn. Learn how to forward a port with those services and do so, then go into your qbit preferences and find where to tell it your port number, and bind the client to your VPN. Then you’re good to hit up a torrent site and get to downloading! Remember to seed, that’s how this whole thing works.

Optional: Then go download Jackett, configure it, and start searching all the sites directly from qbit.

Sounds like a lot but the internet contains all answers, it really isn’t that bad.

VPN has its uses but it depends where OP lives. Places like the US? Sure. But most developing nations (mostly, not all) tend to be lax.

assuming OP lives in Germany it might be a good idea to get one for this

Fair enough. I still don’t want that many strangers to have my IP but that may not be important to all.

What someone can do with an IP?. I live somewhere in South Americas and almost every government but Chile don’t do anything because they don’t care or simply can’t do a thing.
