From the creator:
For the last few months I’ve been working on getting v0.10 of StratusGFX ready for a public release. The source itself is open sourced under the MPL-2.0 license.
The graphics engine has a few design goals:
Should be lightweight
Should run on older hardware (GTX 10 series cards)
Should implement modern graphics features such as physically based rendering, global illumination, volumetric lighting, etc.
Its two main use cases that make sense to me are people using its source code for learning purposes or people taking it and integrating it into other general purpose engines or graphics tools.
I also put together this short video tech demo to try and showcase what its current capabilities are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj0wVxwd1ng
