I own a Garmin Dash Cam, and one of the features is red light and speed cameras alerts, however this feature is hidden behind a subscription, the camera doesn’t require internet connection all the time, so theoretically the files could be reverse engineered. I tried to do a quick google search but got nothing, does anybody know if this feature has been cracked?

You could use Waze? Don’t need the navigation running, just open the app and let it stay running

Might want to look to using something else. Google is going to likely kill Waze next year since their marketing team was all cut

But Waze is still very active around me :( I hope it doesn’t get killed

I know reporting already is a thing in Google maps but it’s not as active as waze is

I do, android auto turns on waze automatically. I am just curious if this camera feature has been cracked

How are you supposed to use Waze without having the phone in your hands? Picking up a phone while driving is illegal in my state.

Mount the phone and start up Waze before you set off

Waze via CarPlay is an actual hellscape.
