Proposed packaging changes include allowing the lids and containers of cannabis products to be different colours, permitting cut-out windows or transparent packaging so that consumers can see the product before buying, and allowing QR codes so buyers are able to find more information.

If anyone is ever in Regina SK and you smoke, make sure to check out Omagakii. Super cool store, totally different experience to any other shops.

Pretty dumb they couldn’t already tbh.

Here in Ontario, edible pieces are limited to 10mg thc. Fucking pointless. Thankfully, I’m 2km from a rez. Most Ontarians aren’t.

In PQ, which was a haven for cannabis pre-legalization, you can’t purchase cannabis vape products bc the thc levels are too high (due to the concentration, duh!), and distribution is government stores…

Dumb, meet dumber.

I swear, the limit on edibles was brought to you by the sugar lobby.

Why? A stronger product means more sugar to mask it

More sugar to bond THC to.

Producers would also be able to package multiple products together as long as the package is still under the 30-gram limit, and products inside also meet packaging requirements. The change would mean producers could sell higher quantities of edibles in one outer package.

Hopefully this means I can get something like a 6 pack of drinks.
