O’Gorman said they brought evidence of these threats to the police, but added no action was taken as authorities do not consider these to be “direct threats.”

Fucking cops man. It’s no wonder why police aren’t respected. They don’t deserve it. ACAB.

Fucking cops man.

Yeah, fuck them for wanting evidence of a crime before arresting someone falsely as our Charters provide as a right. Fuck those guys for doing what we told them after fighting for every freedom from spurious arrest and persecution.

I assume you’d be pleased if they went back to crackin’ skulls without justification, even if they - oops - decided you were next? That seems to be what we want to stop, but I’d love to hear some magical thinking about the issue.

LMAO as if

‘I know where you live, I know when you’re home, I know when you’re away, and I’m going to do something Sudbury will be remembered for.’

Is just cool things to say and not in direct contravention of https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/c-46/section-264.1.html

264.1 (1) Every one commits an offence who, in any manner, knowingly utters, conveys or causes any person to receive a threat

(a) to cause death or bodily harm to any person;

(b) to burn, destroy or damage real or personal property; or

(c) to kill, poison or injure an animal or bird that is the property of any person.

As much as I dislike police, if someone said

‘I know where you live, I know when you’re home, I know when you’re away, and I’m going to do something Sudbury will be remembered for.’

I’d want them to at least look into it instead of doing nothing.

Skip the protest and let Pride be a Riot again.
