Digital or physical copies? For digital ones I would recommend something like trakt where you can mark movies as ‘collected’.
For physical media I would recommend a database which distinguishes between the multilple releases of the same movie. Often there are big differences from one release to another, like lord of the rings colorgrading or star wars special effects retouching etc.
I know only one website which does this well and its in German, see the heading ‘Fassungen’:
