In a statement, ABC Vancouver councillor Rebecca Bligh said the motion would have “wasted precious staff time” and called the motion redundant, given motions recently passed by the city and province to add more housing.
Given that Gregor Robertson, when he was mayor was openly threatened by a Shaughnessy residents association, and immediately bowed to their wishes, yeah absolutely nothing.
“Wasted precious staff time?”
If only ABC had a plan on how they expect to solve a housing crisis without checks notes having city staff work on the problem…
