Well you have to sit down and think where you stand yourself, do you want a broke country, or do you want a productive country that is sitting on a cash cow? climate change is going to happen, but i’d like to not be living on a park bench when that happens.

I used to be that “stoner green peace” kid in high school/20s but when I actually came back into reality, we need to use our natural resources to fuel our economy. we are not going to hit Paris targets, we should stop with that crap, and we should be focusing on generating income for the country and jobs. The latest numbers from stat can came out and the unemployment rate is the highest its been in over 10 years, but that number still isn’t even accurate to what people truly believe what it is. While those in their comfy desk jobs drinking Starbucks and ordering uber eats for lunch for being a DEI hire, there are Canadians who have to turn to welfare because they can’t even get a fucking job flipping burgers.

sorry, our country is rich in resources, we should be taking advantage of them.

Yeah that’s the only thing i haven’t tried yet, but they are quite pricey. Ill have to see if i can save up for something like that.

sadly iv’e yet to find a bike that can handle my weight without the tires bottoming out, i also need to work on my cardio as i am getting quite out of breath easily from any heavy exertion. Ive been to the cardiologist and he said my heart is fine other than possible bicuspid aortic valve so im not sure what is causing it other than being lazy for too long.

As much as I like electric I’d rather take an old car I can fix myself and get parts for that has a radio. No fucking way am I driving a data mining machine. I also plan to bike alot when I loose weight to ride so that won’t be much of a problem.

What green alternatives can we force short term? We will need to rely on gas peaker plants still. If we build alot of nuclear they sure, but I don’t know how feasible wind or solar is for us here in Canada for large replacements for our grid to convert consumers over to full electric.

I understand the sentiment people might have towards the western provinces, but i personally don’t think its nice to paint the whole group with a broad stroke. I know good people in alberta.

right dougie. like stabbing your citizens in the back with bill 212. Your family sure loves wasting taxpayer money on projects and ripping them out of the ground.

yes, this is one way people think they can get out of debt they really shouldn’t of been (for the most part, I know there are edge cases) in the first place. I have debt from my own past mistakes and I know that I have to pay for them myself. buying lotto max tickets is not going to make my situation better.

I used to smoke, I knew it was bad, but I did it because it was cool(in the beginning). tell me how that is not a problem?

So you believe that it was a good move to legalise online gambling in Ontario? I agree with your statements on other things but people who I knew who would never gamble are now doing it with all these platforms available to bet on.

please tell me how your comment provided anything of worth that is in this realm of reality?

I’m going to go off a limb and assume your a sweet summer child and were not aware of the smoking ads in the past.

right, so instead of killing the problem at the root, we just allow it to flourish and nip off the bad buds over and over even if that doesn’t fix the issue…

I half agree with this comment, but greed also plays into this. people think they will be the next millionaire for social media to worship. I actually prefer to live a very low income life because I don’t care nor ever want to be rich.

I see there is people in here who are not happy with people questioning the investigation the cops “concluded” that there was no foul play, yet disregard her fathers connection to the khalistan movement.

If he really hates paying taxes he really should find a country that has low/zero taxes. I will never get over the argument about how people hate taxes and try to argue that we need to get rid of them.
