The point of a game is to be fun in some sense of the word, not to depict Mars as scientificly accurate as possible, unless it’s Scientificly Accurate Mars Simulator.
If the planneta are boring, then the game about exploring those planets are probably failed at being fun, and that’s kind of irregardless of what people want.
Personally I would like all the games to be good, for example.
Depends on how weird of a bullshit you’re doing and what engine are you using, but sometimes it’s even easier, you just use the readily available module.
As for the second point, you avoid it by giving the user control on when they save, you allow them to save unlimited amount of times, and you do some autosaves here and there. We have this technology since forever, we just never used it on consoles before because hard drives for it were expensive
If 10 more millions or so people will do the same, you would have Bernie as a nominee. But they didn’t, and you don’t. That’s a democracy. Now, in order to have it your way, you could for example continue your political activism, maybe even try to get elected somewhere.
What you can’t do is to say “everything is rigged because the outcome is not what I wanted” and call it a day. That’s not a democracy.
Did you vote on primaries? Did all your friends vote on primaries? Did you participate in your local process of choosing delegates? Do you know how this process is happening in your constituency? If the answer on any of this questions is no, you should get more information about it, and while you will be doing that, you will discover your answer on how come Bernie lost primaries despite being so loved among people who don’t vote.
Out of 240 million eligible voters, 19 million voted for Biden and 9.6 million voted for Sanders. Without changing that dynamics there is no changing anything else.
If your example with feminism shows us something, it’s that no matter what you do your actions will be misconstrued by bad actors and your image will be tarnished in a counter-campaign regardless, so if you want to protest something, just skip the phase when you do polite convenient gentle reminders, and go straight to violence and terrorism, if that’s what you will be seen as anyway.
If you are 39 years old and married with two children, you do not get this ripped unless you are deeply unhappy.
It’s that part. But well, if your goal is to hurt someone no matter what, it’s one thing. If your goal is to shame evil people for the evil they are doing, you might reconsider your strategy.
By fun I largely mean “brings positive and meaningful experience”
