I have never dug into low level things like cpu architectures etc. and decided to give it a try when I learned about [cpu.land](cpu.land).
I already was aware of the existence of user and kernel mode but while I was reading site it came to me that "I still can harm my system with userland programs so what does it mean to switch user mode for almost everything other than kernel and drivers?" also we still can do many things with syscalls, what is that stopping us(assuming we want to harm system of course) from damaging our system.

I know this can be easily searched over internet, but I want to know your experience. I don't want a medium article listing algorithm courses.
I found Algorithms from Princeton University in coursera, but course is too old and many resources they have provided are not working right now. I would apprentice it if you could share more of an video type resources because I am not good with programming books, I can not focus them.

It is really authentic but there are many better and new standarts out there thta makes irc unnecessary, but still for tha sake of authenticcity you may use it with friends etc. Me myself running a server for bunch of my friends and since all of them are into tech relevant topics we have written pretty cool irc bots.
btw i dont believe there is someone out here in lemmy who doesnt know irc
I am sick of these meme. Of course we know c is better than python on many aspects but python is also. Lets say you are building… I an continuing, I hope you are capable of continuing it by yourself. Everyone knows which is better for their particular needs, so just let these memes go. We can be more creative with memes
