Wow, I like the one guy farther down who claims Likud is awful but it’s Hamas propaganda that the IDF kills kids… like the massive dead civilian and kid numbers are just all propaganda to make a genocidal ethnistate look bad.

Well of course, it’s their god given right to do with their property children as they see fit.

Jumping a turnstile and taking a physical, actually scarce resource is not comparable to duplicating a digital, artificially scarce resource.

The train requires ongoing maintenance and can only hold a finite amount of people. Taking the train seat for free takes away something from another person. Downloading media does not use any ongoing resources, and does not take anything away from another consumer.

Comparing the morality of physical goods to digital goods are not really a good comparison specifically because of the artificial scarcity brought on by making something digital to try to make it more expensive doesn’t map to the real scarcity of physical goods.

So just swap new drives in one at a time, after backing your data up just in case. I upgraded mine to 4x10 drives 3-4 years ago, and its painless as long as you wait for the resilvering process to complete.

Man, the 20s are a weird time. A century ago, it would have been the Germans asking the Jews if they were Jewish at gunpoint, not the other way around. It’s almost funny how “never again” is now just “again” now that Israel is taking charge…

Absolutely. Punishing the civilians they’re hiding amongst us a literal war crime (collective punishment), and I refuse to support a state that’s trying to ethnicly cleanse a neighboring state so they can steal land.

Also, a commander being there is a fucking weak excuse to bomb a fucking refugee camp. No matter what you think of the war, it should be unconscionable to target a camp of people who’s lives you’ve already destroyed, but considering the end goal of Israel, I’m not surprised they’d stoop that low.

An Israeli strike targeting a Hamas commander in the densely populated Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza has left catastrophic damage and killed a large number of people, according to eyewitnesses and medics in the enclave.

Israel is a terrorist state, and they’re so blood thirsty for Hamas commanders that they’re bombing fucking refuge camps.

And they wonder what drives support for Hamas? Jk, no they don’t. Israel knowsthey support Hamas because of Israel’s actions, and Israel leans into it to give them excuses to marginalize and remove Palestinians from their land one way or another.

I don’t support Hamas, but supporting Israel is unconcionable, and has been for years. But with so many things these days, the authorizations are going full mask off…

While they’re at it, let’s have them make things while in the camps. Because after all, work makes you free, right?

They’re “de-nazifying” Palestine much the same way that Russia is “de-nazifying” Ukraine (ie - murdering tons of civilians with the express purpose of ethnic cleansing and area to steal land)

Isn’t this more bringing money into Russia? I wouldn’t think putting money into a Russian bank would be an effective way to get money out of Russia…

You know you’re on the (alt-)right side of history when you have to consider arresting people for saying true things about your murderous and oppressive regime.

Are actually dead children worse than fake children that were beheaded??? /s

Who knows why they harbor them

Yeah, who could ever know why Palestine harbors the group that Israel funded to delegitimize the more moderate political parties? It’s not like the group Israel funded explicitly advocates for aggression against Israel in the name of freeing the Palestinians from the murderous boot of Israel and their decades long campaign of slowly exterminating the Palestinians and stealing all of their land.

It’s a complete mystery…

It’s war, and they put themselves in this position.

Did they also put themselves in the inhumane conditions that sparked this war too? Or is decades of inhumane treatment of the Palestinian people immaterial to the situation?

Because Israel is a good part of the reason Hamas is as powerful as they are, so I guess they put themselves in this position too?

Also, the whole “illegally annexing land, destroying people’s homes, propping up Hamas to delegitimize Palestinian political groups, and attempting to slow walk a genocide against the previous people” thing probably didn’t help Israel’s situation either.

You make it sound like they are on even somewhat equal footing. Israel is illegally annexing and destroying the home land of Palestinians with massive support from the west, and is effectively untouchable. Isnt that also super important to include in this discussion?

Sure Hamas is reacting violently, but that’s the only option they’re provided because Israel refuses to obey international law and no one with any real power has the stones to put the screws to Israel to stop it, because going after Israel is instantly portrayed as antisemitism.

Nothing slips past the russian tactical mind! Also:

Zakharova added that the drone attacks will not “go unpunished” and criticized attacks on “peaceful civilian targets.”

L. O. L.

But his support for riling the base up was of the Tea Party, not MAGA, flavour.

“He wanted a Squirtle, not a Blastoise”

I think it’s more than, more than just COVID. I mean, I think that there’s deaths of despair.

Remind me, which party’s policies actively push out dispair, be it by enacting cruelties on people, taking away benefits that they don’t feel are deserved, and promotes rhetoric that increases hate against minorities?

I wonder if all of that has anything to do with it…

Sex pests don’t generally understand the difference between consensual and nonconsensual experiences, so that perfectly tracks why you’re confused about this whole situation.

If giving someone a kiss unconsensually makes you a sex pest then I guess you can call me one too.

Ok, youre a sex pest, N1cknamed

You appear to agree, as well

So? Public pressure works to give proper repercussions to sexual assualters in old boys clubs, and it’s doing what it should here.

I really don’t understand why you’re riding this so hard to defend a sex pest…

You can agree to disagree if you want, but I won’t and think you’re entirely you’re wrong. And thankfully FIFA doesn’t agree with you and have suspended him for the kiss.

Sexual assault is never ok, and I hope he gets bounced from the league. I also hope your type that justifies gross and unacceptable behavior find that they’re not welcome either.

Aside from the massive strawman here, you’re defending a dude who sexually assaulted a player under them in public and on film.

In this case, yes, exactly what you said entirely unironically. He shouldn’t defend himself for committing sexual assault because that’s unacceptable no matter what, and he should have gone with the popular demands to step down for committing an unacceptable act. Because social media is right in this case.

We saw it as something natural and normal," he continued in the video — which was not posted on federation’s social media channels. “But on the outside it has caused commotion, because people have felt hurt by it, so I have to apologize; there’s no alternative. I have to learn from this and understand that a president of an institution as important as the federation — above all in ceremonies and that kind of thing — should be more careful.”

He did not address his postgame locker-room declaration that he would marry Hermoso; nor his celebration shortly after the final whistle, which included grabbing his crotch; nor the battle with women’s national team players that he publicized and inflamed last September.

Seems like he’s apologizing because he was called out specifically, not that he’s actually remorseful for what he did or thinks he did anything wrong.

People want a lot of things they’re not likely to get.

Sometimes when you fuck up, you don’t get to keep your job afterwards. Quadrupling down and suing because you fucked up and don’t want to take your lumps just makes you look worse in the long run.

Because capitalism means that you always have to keep making more money year over year even if you’re not doing anything more than you ever were. So sometimes the only way to do it is to squeeze your customers even harder.

I’ve heard really good things about Hover, that’s probably where I’m going to go once I get close to renwal

Thankfully I don’t think the stupid windbag has another 15 years in him.

I hope you’re giving the employees cash, otherwise you’re probably just giving the store a couple of extra bucks that the employees likely never see.

Even aside from that, they wont be able to argue that he believed it in good faith when they’ve got TONS of advisers refuting that, even instances of contemporaneous public refutations from people within Trump’s circle.

We thought we’d already seen Stupid Watergate, and it just keeps getting stupider…

Going from “If I did it” to “here’s why I did it”

You might be in luck, I see this under optional settings for items:

Arbitrary/Custom Fields

You’d need to log into your router to see if it’s enabled. Assuming you’ve got standard consumer grade stuff, it’s likely on by default because it makes things like console multiplayer 'just work’s without needing someone to go in and port forward stuff.

Before I built my home network, any Linksys/Netgear/etc router I used had that disabled when I was doing my initial setup.

That looks like a really neat util, and I can’t wait to find a docker container to spin that up.

Yes, the firewall is still your transition point from your internal network to your ISP network. Just like with ipv4, you should be configuring your ipv6 firewall to only allow designated traffic into your network from the internet.
