I’ve got a brand new intel nuc 12th gen i7, 4070 graphics, 32 gig ram, Samsung 990 hard drive.

Cost me a pretty penny, and a lot of time to put together. Not to mention all the time spent researching parts and agonising over choices. Then the wait times for deliveries and redeliveris of the orders I messed up (had to return ram twice, once because I accidentally ordered the wrong ones, and once became a stock was faulty).

Eventually have everything set up.

So of course I’m using it to play ksp1.

It’s been decades since I last played a civ game, and never played multiplayer, but I thought they had a version of this?

I was much younger then and only interested in battles and spectacle, so never tried them, but I do remember other victory conditions beyond kill everyone else.

Does the Ally work as a standard PC if you plug in a mouse+kb? I’ve heard steam deck can do that.

Looking to replace my ancient PC, which is slowly dying. Cyberpunk, Diablo 4, and Baldurs Gate 3 are the big games I’m looking to play. If you factor in my huge backlog, anything that cam run those 3 smoothly could last me years.

My office space is tiny, a small shelf and the smallest desk IKEA had. Currently thinking of an intel nuc, but I kinda like the sound of a portable I can play on the train into work or a coffee shop. If it can double as a low paper desktop, ot may be a winner.

I’ve picked it up at the last steam sale, but not gotten around to playing it yet.

Search and Rescue game. I’m not really a pacifist, I don’t have a problem with violence in games. But it would he nice to have an action game that didn’t involve slaughtering endless waves of mooks for a change.

There’s plenty of adrenaline, skill and gear porn to be had in the genre, so why don’t we see more of it?
