It’s not that it’s surprising, it’s that it’s somewhat scientifically confirmed now.

I also wish we had Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism instead of Captain Botox… but alas, it is not so.

Gooning Goomba mushroom bat

The next one contained a Flintstones rule 34 image, which I won’t include here for obvious reasons.

;-;

I’ve been through a similar process (as an employee) and all I can keep thinking is “Fuck you.” after every sentence this guy says.

Allow me to interject for a moment

I usually play it in short bursts, iirc you can save at any time.

In April, a neurosurgery team from the Mount Sinai Health System placed one of Precision’s devices containing four electrode-containing films—totaling 4,096 electrodes—onto the brain of a patient who was having surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. While the patient was asleep with their skull opened, Precision researchers used their four electrode arrays to successfully record detailed neuronal activity from an area of approximately 8 square centimeters of the brain.

This isn’t even their final form.

A couple of people are finding it difficult because of their home situations

This is why most of the nice cafes in my city are packed for most of the afternoon. A lot of people are WFH but don’t want to stay home for whatever reason they have.

The only good games on phone are now emulators and a few Foss games

Always has been.

SERIOUSLY?! I guess I didn’t use it at all in the first one too and completely forgot about it. Unless it wasn’t in the original game? I seriously don’t remember anything like that in the first one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh well, not that it matters. Hate it just the same.

Goes to show how much I paid attention to it after the DS2 lol.

Meh. I really disliked Dead Space 2. The time altering ability made the game too easy so I didn’t put any points into it. Then I get to that one regen boss where you have to use it to open a flippin’ door before it smashes you. Really dumb to have an optional ability that becomes mandatory for like one part of the game (and to open a dang door at that). I never got past that door, and I never completed the game.

The first Dead Space is awesome though, but I’m not sad there won’t be a third fourth(???). Never would have bought it because the ability tomfoolery in the second.

IMO the industry as a whole has breached the “trust thermocline” by consistently releasing broken unfinished games. There aren’t as many people that will buy a game at release, and would rather wait for the bugs to fixed and buy it at a discount a year or so later; or, it’s realized the bugs will never be fixed and no one buys it.

Also with the realization that digital copies (that aren’t installed on your own HDD) can be taken from you at a whim. I think most people are fed up with it, and are sticking to games they already have or just not playing at all.

I’ve never played Industries of Titan, but what I can garner from screenshots and such is that it’s a management/base building game, so:

Satisfactory (especially the cosiness)

Factorio - peak management (2.0 coming out soon also)

Stardew Valley - peak cozy, the world is the total opposite of a dystopia though.

I haven’t personally tried them, but there are a lot of monitors on Amazon that are meant for Raspberry-Pi’s. I was looking at them myself but I instead decided to get an old monitor for free off of Freecycle. I made a post there and a bunch of people offered a bunch of old ones they weren’t using any more (like the ubiquitous Samsung 720N).

Also, I already have a second monitor but it’s too narrow for discord; as in the window can’t be made small enough. Maybe it’s just a GNOME thing, but I’m not sure discord will ‘fit’ on those small screens.

Same. If it’s fpv only it doesn’t really matter to me.

Microsoft asserts that the 7 TB storage per glass sheet maintains data integrity for 10,000 years.

Imagine people 10,000 years from now finding a 7tb homework folder of high resolution ponies.

I grew up on consoles, mostly Playstations, so I can use controllers a lot better then some people. I prefer to use them in FPS’, movement and melee feels a lot more natural with a controller then with a keyboard. Aiming is, I dare say, an art-form with a controller and it can get really difficult when the sticks are old and losing their sensitivity (*or it’s just a crap controller).

Not to mention how comfortable it is not having to have your fingers splayed across a flat surface for the whole game.

I use NoScript to block every script from google except for ytimg and youtube and I haven’t seen anything like that; though, I do only watch 1-2 videos at a time, maybe I haven’t ‘triggered’ it.

I can even disable origin and still not see any ads because NoScript blocks them from loading in the first place.

With the current system, anyone with physical access to your Hue bridge can take it over just by pressing the button.

If a bad actor has access to your home, I doubt light bulbs will be your main concern…

I’m happy, this means that I can play it on my Linux PC.

That moment when you go shopping, but have to stop a column of tanks on the way home.

The guy who made the space exploration mod is the same one that worked on this expansion. Thought I would put that here, judging by the comments on steam lol.

Beautiful games?
Suggest some beautiful games. Genre doesn't matter. 3d or 2d no big deal. Hyper Light Drifter, Satisfactory, Cliff Empire, etc. Mostly I'm talking about moments in the game where you can just stand there and look at the world and not be bored. Thankssss.
