You realize it only mentions k-12 in the article and bill right? So while they are schools I can’t find mention of them in this act. Can you please show where it says Universites are included? It does not in the article or the link below.

https://www.bclaws.gov.bc.ca/civix/document/id/complete/statreg/24018

According to the article, quoted.

Access zones are in place at K-12 schools, and police can arrest or issue tickets to anyone found impeding access, disrupting or interfering with educational activities, or attempting to intimidate an individual within 20 metres (66 feet) of school property,” the province said in a release. Unquoted now…

What part of that is bad? Nothing says people can’t protest but no one should interfere with kid’s education. Doesn’t say people can’t protest, but they can’t disrupt people who go in there is all which seems fair.

Edit: forgot to say I can be a bit dense and not realize things so if I’m missing a glaring fact or angle of this please do inform me.

I think it depends on the marketing in the end. Even if it’s expensive, if it’s not known it probably won’t sell as much as you hope. If I’m proved wrong I’d like to know to give it a try of course heh. But I do think many of those brands survive on the rich knowing them to parade around, even if they’re not known by sight due to non displayed logos.

If you want to target the new rich, then it needs to be high profile and flashy I assume.

Not if the place doesn’t do daylight savings time, and not all places in a timezone will do that (least in North America) so you need extra code if they do or do not. It becomes a pain after awhile when you do it in multiple projects. Technically one extra setting but it’s still a pain to make sure it’s handle properly in all cases, especially when the previous programmer decided to handle it for each case individually, but that’s a different issue.

Also when you deal with the times, say in .Net you gotta make sure it’s the proper kind of date otherwise it decides it’s a local system date and will change it to system local when run. Sure it’s all handled but there are many easy mistakes to make when working with time.

I probably didn’t even get to the real reason, I sort of picked this up on my own.

But if media can’t blame the liberals for any issue, who can they blame? The conservatives? Not according to their owners, no siree, not this conservative mouthpiece.

Yet I imagine the Kelowna area will still vote for a Conservative to be our representative next election, so many people with money and other conservative types in the area. I was constantly checking updates as one of the fires were within like 1-2 km, it was very stressful and I wasn’t ever in an evacuation zone. Had everything ready just in case we had to go right away. Granted there was many buildings between me and the fire but it hit pretty fast, so I may have been overreacting but I’d rather be prepared than caught off guard. Will definitely vote for people that want to curb our environmental impact myself but feels like pissing in the wind when looking at vote counts after the election.

She made multiple trips to a Bitcoin machine, Bitcoin alone should be obvious to most people. Mean it sucks for them and I feel for their situation but what government employee is going to tell them to go to a Bitcoin machine?

At the very least set up a new account at a different bank with extra safeguards until it’s sorted out.

Yeah I’ve had it in my library for awhile, played a handful of hours and ended up being off today so thought why not? Can’t get to online mode, I always figured I’d do online mode when it was released. A shame but it happens. Granted I tried right after I could download it so probably not the best time but I was also curious if something like this would come up. I’m sure it’ll get sorted out anyways.

Maybe they got kompromat on Tucker so there was never any worry? Or he’s just a useful tool for them, any definition of tool will do in this case.

Yeah I was watching the fire reports this year, got within two kms maybe less but with city between. It was a nerve racking time seeing the evacuation notices so close. Going to work one day could see them burning across the lake with red glows and hoping it wouldn’t get closer, it jumped the lake though. A good reminder to have a go bag ready in case you were evacuated on short notice, definitely had the car filled and provisions in case they were needed. Maybe it was an overreaction with so many buildings between but rather be prepared.

I checked earlier this year on BC’s site and they were only recommending at risk people to get their 4th shot, curious if that changed or they were trying to ration current stock. Felt off cause everything else I read recommended 6 months but there wasn’t an open sign up from what I saw like the earlier shots.

I find sex scenes awkward to enjoy, I kinda like the fade to black where it’s implied but not delved into. That said so many novels that are aimed at a similar audience with sci Fi and fantasy have always had sex scenes (Necromancer, Hyperion, Expanse all have sex in them) When we were playing text based games back in the 80s we wanted a cinematic experience. What’s the result? Games with sex in them. A new Leisure Suit Larry game is probably about due now that I think of it heh. I just click through and continue on.

Yes,minor spoiler but I was made smelly at one point, I was curious so used a thing of water to make everything wet, this stopped the effect. Probably could have gone through a river too. That made me curious there was a bad substance on the ground, I shattered water again and it made it passable. Now this sounds simple but I’m programming terms it’s the same action interacting that changes different systems (in place hazard and character modifier). That alone could create small bugs when interacting with different modifiers, items and NPCs. For the most part someone wouldn’t run into a quarter of the bugs they post (even a quarter is high) but someone will and it’s awesome they are being patched.

Personally I’ve played about 20 hours since release, the only bug I had was when I was playing on hotfix 4 before they fixed that hotfix. It sounds worse than it was, since it was a compiler issue. I’m sure others aren’t as lucky but even 10000 bugs isn’t bad when it’s a rare and edge cases. But with probability you get more players (and this game seemed to sell very well) and the weird bugs that even beta testers didn’t find will come up.

Wonder what a divine crit roll would cost, $5 in combat $3 outside? Heck that’s too complicated $10 for all, $7 for season pass holders.

For those wondering there is no season pass.

That’s the game I first used this name in online multiplayer. Was weirded out when I started seeing Orbitz travel popups (I was thinking of that drink, hadn’t heard of the travel site). Don’t recall much of the game other than for the time it looked quite clean, shiny and well lit compared to the original Quake. Though I don’t think I even finished the single player so I may have missed out on later atmosphere.

I love it, especially (later) in the summer.
