I keep seeing this talking point. Is it true?

Consider that Australia has a similar population, similar geographic issues and they have domestic auto production.

South Korea is only slightly larger than us in terms of population and has 3 domestic companies building cars. We could certainly do like Korea and export vehicles.

The only thing stopping us from having a Canadian domestic auto industry is the pervasive and false belief that we can’t because we need to sell to the US.

We don’t. We can sell to anyone willing to buy.

Edit: To add. My first new car was built by an independent plant that manufactured for multiple car companies.

I’m in PP’s riding. We’re doing our part to turf him.

I’m not underestimating his dangerousness. But the fact is, he’s gotten where he is based on force of personality and people just letting him get away with things because giving in was easier than dealing with a whining man baby. No one expected him to gain a cult that quite literally worshipped him.

But none of that changes the fact that he is dumb and just does whatever whoever praises him or enriches him the most. He’s not a puppeteer, he’s a puppet. An extremely dangerous fool.

That statement is the equivalent of “Are you sure you want to do this bud? It isn’t going to turn out like you imagined.”

Trump always has the option to stop. It still could not happen. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he will, but he could. The language Trudeau used was weak, but correct.

Your listening comprehension needs work. He didn’t say 155 products, he said 155 billion worth of products.

And he didn’t say if.

I never got cigarette. More notes of a dog’s rancid ball sweat.
