My partner works at a Sobeys doing file maintenance and she does all the price and label changes. She regularly shows me pictures of shrinkflation and price gouging. Some things doubled in price overnight.

It’s crazy and she says it’s a little bit depressing. And unlike a normal shopper, she’s aware of all the deals as well, so that’s nice for us.

This reinforces my absolute pleasure in having amber alerts disabled.

The last thing I would have wanted were other provinces alerts on top of ours.

It’s a tragedy some families are so horrible, but it’s also not my problem as I take care of those around me, and that is all I should be expected to do.

And getting a full night’s, uninterrupted sleep is an important part of that. Lack of anxiety from my phone blarring is an important part of that.

First time I moved away from Saskatchewan I mentioned my hunnyhug and no one had a clue what I was talking about. At the same time I had never heard it called a hoodie or hooded sweater. Man did they make fun of me.

I still think hunnyhug is the best name ever, it feels right, sounds good, it’s perfection!

I wonder how many people here actually know what a hunnyhug is.

I’d rather it help people in Canada. We have enough problems that it would be more useful here than the corruption over there, where only pennies on the dollar make it to the intended.
