I know this is /c/piracy but I feel YT Premium has its benefits. You get the music service as well. Spotify is better, yes, but YT Music is good enough and the family can have an ad free YouTube experience. My 5 y/o can watch cartoons without getting ads in his face.

It’s $18 on iOS. My partner pretty much only uses YT and still can’t justify paying that much for it.
