In March this year, Canada had promised it would welcome 15,000 migrants from the western hemisphere. Two days later, the unofficial border crossing at Roxham Road was closed.

Why?

Lowest birth rate since 2005?

To improve the birth rate maybe make housing affordable, not bring more people in who will realize how expensive it is to have kids and then not have kids either.

Agreed, but we need people, if we’re not making any then we need to import them. Idk about you but my province has an aging problem.

Maybe we shouldn’t put so much money into trying to make people live until they’re 120

Expecting old people to die earlier is a shitty solution.

Do you have money problems? Try dying!

Not a day goes by where I don’t consider this.

Take it one day at a time, bud. One day at a time. This too shall pass.

Who said 120 years is early?

What would you consider an appropriate age to send them to the vultures then?

Who says we need people? We can’t even find homes and jobs for the people that are here already.
