The Halifax International Security Forum gave its John McCain Prize for Leadership in Public Service to the “People of Israel.”

Thank you. Most Israelis do not support the war or their fascist government.

States rarely do what their people want. Usually this is especially the case with existential threats like war & the climate catastrophe.

Blame the State, not the people. Help the people overthrow the State. BDS.

What Israelis Think of the War With Hamas: Polls (Nov 10, 2023):

Poll results were also hawkish when it came to the use of force in Gaza: 57.5% of Israeli Jews said that they believed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were using too little firepower in Gaza, 36.6% said the IDF was using an appropriate amount of firepower, while just 1.8% said they believed the IDF was using too much fire power, while 4.2% said they weren’t sure whether it was using too much or too little firepower.

Bullshit on the don’t support the government he has been in power for 16 years obviously he is getting voted in.

Do you realize what happened to the last leftist leader that tried to make peace with Palestine? The current president called him a Nazi and he was assassinated by a right extremist Israeli.

The people want to elect a leader, but no leader is willing to run because they know the consequence of doing so.

It’s not so simple as “vote” in a police State.
