While online platform was the start it also now applies to services degrading. Much like how our local purolator no longer actually delivers packages to the door. they now call saying they need address confirmation (even though it is correct), then put package delayed do to address request in their tracking, or leave a door tag even though I’m home. And when you check their tracking system it was just shuffled around inside their facility and not actually on the truck, until you get so mad you go and pick it up. Trying to complain is a circle of nonsense since you need a tracking number and LOST package to make a complaint. Trying to explain the logistical problem to an employee that doesn’t give a shit and has no button to click in their complaint system for it. That is enshitification of a service.

You’re describing the purolator experience I’m familiar with from my time in non-metro BC. Even Victoria was horrible for them.

Purolator, I’ll submit, has never been good and maybe should stop getting any money.
