Canada's largest union is denouncing a statement by Quebec's labour minister, who suggested he might try to bring in legislation to give the province more power to end labour disputes.

Absolutely, no exaggeration. If workers don’t have a right to choose not to work over unsafe or unacceptable conditions, they are enslaved. Yet another reason I have no hope in the Liberals. The right to unionize and strike is absolutely fundamental in a free society.
