Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said 'there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States,' on the same day U.S. president-elect Donald Trump declared that he's open to using 'economic force' to acquire Canada.

Trump calls the US-Canada border an “artificially drawn line”, in what seems like one of the most dumbfounding statements the “build the wall” president could possibly utter.

But which probably isn’t, because it’s Trump.

My concern would be that there are evidently so many gullible right-wing types around, I could see Trump winning over a good portion of them in both the USA and Canada, and Canada being undermined from within with the help of the usual propagandists (and perhaps Poilievre’s Conservative government).

That’s a fair concern, but address those assholes directly. You cannot fight the firehose of bullshit from Trump.
