The BBC and the CBC should be held to a higher standard. Yes, state funding for media sounds like a good way to create a propaganda machine, but it’s not like the 0.01%ers who owns most of the world’s “independent” media aren’t running a blatant agenda to sway the public to hurt themselves. And in a properly functioning democracy, state funded media is accountable to the public…
