Didn’t Costco also refuse to sign it? Considering that they’re basically the ideal business to support, it makes me a little suspicious about the value of this code of conduct.
Yeah I’m sure they’ll get right on that just like Loblaws cares about our boycott
Demand they sign something utterly worthless? Anyone who thinks this will help is kinda ignorant of how these bastards operate.
Correct.
Would you like to see Walmart change ?
STOP SHOPPING THERE.
That’s it. Sure, explain to friends and family all the evil they do. But stop shopping there
Boycotts don’t work against Walmart because many folks (their core demographic) have no choice but to shop there.
Meaningful legislation and regulation is the way forward.
Supported by this evidence: https://www.reuters.com/business/walmart-engaged-illegal-union-busting-california-store-us-agency-says-2024-01-25/
Way ahead of you I’ve went there once in two years, can’t stand the place.
Establish the service level objectives.
Again agreement so objectives become agreement.
Compare all behaviour against this new SLA.
Seems the path is clear. What was your idea?
Nationalization of the grocery distribution system. Or atleast far more government control over it.
