rarbg mirrors are simply rehosting the database. You were even able to download and self host it for a while. Not sure if the tracker is able to accept new torrents though, I’m not really knowledgeable on how trackers work
I doubt theres any threat from downloading media but my question was more about the trustworthyness of the site cause the last time I heard about it, it was apparently some kids doing it for profit or maybe it’s a honeypot. I’m a bit skeptical but if anyone has used this for atleast a month or two pls feel free to chip in
