“I have asked the security services to figure out a way to give some information to the leader of the Opposition so that he can actually fulfil his responsibility of protecting Canadians, including those within his own caucus,” Trudeau said during question period Wednesday.

“It would be easier if he got his security clearance, but I’ve asked them to give him some information nonetheless.”

I’m a random civilian and I’ve actually gone through more vetting than Pollievre. And this fucking asshole thinks he deserves to be Prime Minister. Absolutely insane that anyone takes him seriously.

Without saying the Conservatives have MPs under foreign influence, he’s able to use Poilievre’s unwillingness to get a security clearance with a line that DEFINATELY indicates that the Conservatives have MPs under foreign influence.

He explicitly stated during his testimony that he knows the names of Conservative MPs who are compromised, both past and present.

Leaders and deputy leaders of provincial parties with active MPs should require mandatory security clearance

They normally just have it…

Convention would say that they do.

We all saw where failing to codify convention and decorum have gotten the US to. Canada needs to nip that shit in the bud.

Perhaps there is some sort of background check before it’s officially granted?
