I’ve read the article and unless I’m missing something they have no data on MD at all. It’s all based on wastewater samples.

Where is the stat that coke and MD overdoses are taking place? Where is the evidence? We don’t have it because it’s most likely not true. If anything, it’ll be fent.

Fear mongering on MDMA again. The numerous studies over the years have shown that if it’s pure, it’s unlikely to cause death.

We just had this article on an MDMA death

Which I also didn’t know was possible

That’s weird. The boy aged 14, thought he was buying 3 capsules @ 100mg each. But was sold 10.

The boy took all 10 =1g. I’m assuming the boy thought 300mg was dosed out into 10 caps.

Didn’t know 1g had a risk of death. I’ve had multiple friends take really good MD at this amount and been ok. Yeh, it’s ridiculous, especially since myself and others tell them it’s not good.

This is more of a maths/education issue and really disgusting behaviour from that drug dealer from the fact he’s selling to minors.

I mean that is a pretty sizeable qualifier considering most people don’t get MDMA directly from the source.

Like many other drugs it should be regulated and sold legally so that is less of a concern.

The problem is MDMA’s street name started as Ecstacy (later Molly of course), but X got cut with other things and fucked it.

When I was partying in the 90s, we had test kits to look for other substances. If MDMA wasn’t pure, we’d probably not take it. We also knew our sources.

If only there was a way not to overdose on these…

Legalize and make a safe supply available.

A good step, but there’s an even more safe way, believe it or not.

What’s that?

Not using any cocaine or MDMA.

Does prohibition work?

Clearly not, as shown by the us alcohol prohibition or the war on drugs.

So given that total abstinence is practically impossible, do drug users deserve to die of overdose?

You know that’s never going to happen (on a societal level, I don’t use), right?

I know. But at the end of the day, it’s still an individual’s own responsibility.

Society’s responsibility

If you make everyone have a good life then there’s no need for drugs

It doesn’t really matter. There will always be people who want to use drugs. If people quit acting like prohibition or abstinence work then drugs would be less of a problem.

Don’t bother feeding that troll.

Just because you disagree with me, doesn’t mean I’m a troll.

What’s that?
