It’s a bit of a shame. Flying with Swoop was a gamble but most of my flights worked out and it was usually amazingly cheap. I was hoping there was going to be a boom of discount airlines in Canada but it’s going the opposite way now.

Flair is still doing well, right?
@zephyreks @grte
If by well, you mean earning the Worst Airline in customer complaints ( https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/flair-worst-airline-complaints-1.6863897 ), having jets confiscated ( https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/flair-airlines-plane-seizures-1.6776186 ), nearly having its license revoked ( https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/flair-airlines-cta-ruling-1.6473784 ), and losing its ground crews ( https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/sunwing-flair-ottawa-airport-baggage-contract-1.6779457 )…
Then yes, they seem to be doing just fine.
I think it’s only a matter of time before Westjet absorbs them too.
Used to love flying WestJet. Not anymore, since the pandemic they’ve gone so downhill. Won’t fly them unless I have to and I live in their hub city.
More accurately, since they were bought by the private equity firm Onex.
That they should get passports so they can fly to the USA for cheaper air fare?
