OK, so third attempt is the best one, mirite? BLUF format: What do you do in tech just for fun and to put the magic back into technology?
Most of us have had the magic of technology stripped away by years of trench warfare against gremlins, misconfigurations, and upgrades gone awry.
However, recently I was reminded that those who are still discovering: “curl -s -D - -o /dev/null https://example.com” should have something to see, so I added to my response headers this morning X-Clacks-Overhead “GNU Terry Pratchett” in addition to the other security headers.
Why? Just for fun and for someone to discover some day. What are you doing to put the magic back in tech?
