Fascism will keep rising if the people do not put pressure on the liberals to enact proportional representation.

I would argue that there are thousands of plant-based recipes out there you can learn to cook and you can also substitute your favourites with alternatives that taste just as good! Also meat, dairy and eggs make it way more complicated to keep your kitchen clean and increases the likelihood of cross-contamination.

Here are some substitutes for your common cooking ingredients:

Let’s increase the life expectancy from 82 years to 88 years for all Canadians by using the lessons learned from Loma Linda as an inspiration.

Though they’re negotiating with the big 3 with bargaining power to lower service use fees and will use the profits to build their own towers which will eventually have the same level of coverage all across Canada and consumers will have lower fees. You have to look at the long term here.

Good because it needs to get way more expensive. Salmon can still feel pain even if they cannot scream.

This is why passing school lunches for school children will help as it will be the provinces negotiating the prices.

Feeling sore and going through puberty again is sooo worth it to dominate womens sports ouch!

I’m hoping this list makes it more straight forward for the other trans folks starting their journeys.

Funny that our supreme court is now made up of mostly women. So abortion is safe on that front.

Pierre Poilivere is attempting to begin the first stage of genocide: Classification.

Conservatives want free speech to harass and put marginalized people at risk then they declare that any restrictions on that is an attack on free speech while at the same time calling for bans on books they disagree.

What a bunch of hypocrites.

Then if that is the case why do you feel the need to complain about it when you say nothing will change. You should be indifferent to this if you were being truly neutral.

Stop being a gross sexist.

I’m using the keyword pharmacare on cbc search to track the negotiations on this.

Urge Health Minister Mark Holland to Change His Stance on Single Payer Pharmacare
Things are getting more expensive in Canada and our population is aging. The liberals must do everything they can to lower the cost of living. But they have shown resistance to implementing a single payer pharmacare plan for the country, citing it as too expensive but they have agreed to adopt it in the coalition agreement with the NDP. But the thing is we still have to pay out of prescription drugs why not instead use that money to pay a little more tax and be covered. The government could deal with the process of negotiating drug costs and bulk-buy supplies and to save everyone money in the long run. Canada is the only developed nation in the world with a publicly funded universal system that does not cover prescription drugs. People need prescriptions to function in everyday life so they can continue to work or volunteer in their communities. Our health minister Mark Holland has shown resistance to the idea. We should urge him to do the right thing and listen to citizens not multi billion dollar pharma companies. You can contact him at mark.holland@parl.gc.ca

I’m going to say again if the liberals drop the ball on providing a single payer pharmacare in Canada they’re going to hand the election to conservatives. There’s no debate to be hand as things are getting more expensive.

Canada is the only developed nation in the world with a publicly funded universal system that does not cover prescription drugs.

The Canadian government can afford to pay for prescriptions. It is a lie that we cannot afford it. Instead of paying pharma companies exorbitant rates we could pay a little more in tax and have everyone covered and cheaper per unit drug prices with the bulk buying plan.

Shame on Mark Holland and the Liberals.

He did say he was considering banning care for trans minors.

Well she is being actively targeted by her ex-roomate and ex-land lord and the cops won’t do anything to stop them. Trans people are at a heighten risk of being murdered and us lawmakers are criminalizing being trans so this is persecution.

The corporations need to get out the way. Facebook has put people lives in peril as they took down emergency messages.

To add to that: left wing protestors on average tend to face more violence.

To add to this we need to get all cities to sign the plant based treaty.

Cities need to be much more transit/pedestrian oriented because they do not cover much area.

Cars should be used for servicing the country and for visiting towns.

That’s it. Nationalize Air Canada. We have had it with their self serving doctrine.

BC Needs to Expand Transgender Healthcare
Compared to the Yukon one of the most vulnerable in British Columbia do not have proper access to healthcare to meet their congruence. No one should have to be rich to feel comfortable in their own skin especially since trans people on average are less likely to secure housing and employment opportunities. Why should transpeople have to save for something that cisgender just get for free (The body that fits their mental map) This is the list of procedures currently not covered. NOT COVERED: Facial feminization Tracheal shave Voice pitch surgery Non-medical interventions like laser hair removal or electrolysis Take-home medications and equipment Personal expenses, meals and accommodation for hospital travel However compared to the Yukon. Yukon Insured Health Services expanded coverage in 2021 to include “comprehensive list of surgeries and other procedures” for the trans and gender diverse community, in accordance with WPATH standards. “Last year, we expanded Yukon’s healthcare to cover surgeries and other procedures essential to gender transition. The new policy was recognized at that time as the most comprehensive health coverage for gender-affirming care in North America,” a government spokesperson told Global News. To receive coverage, patients must have gender dysphoria and a referral from a mental health provider. A medical practitioner (including a nurse practitioner) can prescribe hormone therapy. COVERED: Hormone therapy (medical practitioner must apply to benefits program on behalf of patient) Vaginoplasty Phalloplasty Metoidioplasty Penectomy Hysterectomy Salpingo-oophorectomy Orchiectomy Mastectomy Chest contouring Body contouring Hair removal Medical and travel costs Facial feminization surgery ($30K-$50K) Voice therapy Vocal surgery Mental wellness services (through All Genders Yukon Society) Training for healthcare professionals (at no cost) to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive WPATH gender-inclusive care PARTIALLY/CONDITIONALLY COVERED: Counselling services Source:https://globalnews.ca/news/8900413/gender-affirming-healthcare-province-territory-transgender/
