I would just remove Goodbye Ads… it has too many false positives, not worth it. OISD + 1hosts lite is all you need (and language specific filters if you visit those websites)

for torrenting, you only really need a VPN and a torrent client, as for precaution, I guess just bind qbittorrent with VPN. and for sites to find torrents, there’s plenty on the megathread or fmhy, tell him to use an adblocker like uBlock Origin

it should be in config.env file. it needs to be changed on the server, you can’t do it through telegram. and sorry, I forgot to mention where it is before

it punishes and inconveniences legitimate users for piracy and doesn’t even solve the problem.

IDK about that, the only person who can crack denuvo is empress and she doesn’t crack all games, so I guess it atleast reduces piracy for a while. I agree however that DRM shouldn’t exist.

there just isn’t information, but this is likely an issue with the bot itself.

Edit: if you’re using the bot I think you’re using, there should be a line in config.env USER_TRANSMISSION = "False" try changing that to USER_TRANSMISSION = "True"

ah yeah, you’re right! I didn’t see that.

a leeching group is a telegram group in which there are bots which download the torrents you give them links to (usually to gdrive or other cloud storage) these download the torrents faster (since they run on servers) but as the name suggests, do not seed the torrents. and all the torrents you make the bot download are available publicly for everyone in the group. leeching groups were very popular during lockdown, I haven’t checked them out for a while though.

the github I linked is such a bot, it can be self hosted and used for downloading torrents (i.e. making your own leeching group)

not to mention it was only available in US… but then again the rest of the world doesn’t exist anyway, right ?
