Should go after anywhere that has perpetual agreements including the ones that try to get around it by the last living clause or 100 years etc. I don’t know a good solution but I’m sure they can put limits and carve outs where needed.

Hmm kinda like what they did before. It worked. I knew I was going to get one and the community built a spreadsheet tracking estimates dates.

No because it’s not decentralized. That’s like saying Twitter is decentralized because it’s microservices communicate over https.

It’s funny how you can build out a grid and find out it’s all off slightly. They’re doing some rounding somewhere and it gets clearer the further out from the start of a 90 degree you get

That overlay has such bad contrast it’s hard to see what’s going on. Big accessibility issue.

Really same reason all these companies making dramatic changes. Rips the bandaid off and lets them roll back to what they actually wanted while looking like they listen. Some are executed better than others. See Deltas medallion change for another example.

More surprised you managed to post a negative review. Every time I do it fails amazons community guidelines check or get removed a few days after.

No body was asking for it either. Now they have a reason to raise prices. And they will.

I’d argue you’re not really losing it if you never use it all in the first place. People put too much thought into range when all they’re doing is short trips most of the time.

It’s weird calling for one mega corp to be split up while supporting another mega corp that owns more than the first. Everyone needs a reality check if they think any mega corp doesn’t want the same thing.

I wish more games were smarter about difficulty. If a player keeps losing have an option to reduce it a bit. Not everyone likes to/has time to retry grind until we get a good rng.

Steam deck, rog Ally would be good options.

If you want a laptop that’s surprisingly not bad for the price look at the asus g14s. They go on sale every so often. Slap an extra stick of ram in there and you’re golden. Make sure to get gHelper from GitHub to get rid of all the asus bloat ware.

Most people work in at-will states so really they don’t even need to say they’re firing you for any particular reason.

I’m fine with it, wasn’t fallout 3 on GOG at some point? You can download those fairly safely. I don’t see it as piracy if you already own the game or a license to the game.

I’m still playing. It’s fun for a few minutes a day.

One of my all time favorite games. There’s so many little details you can miss too.

Sim games. Not THE sims but like SimTower, SimAnt, etc. There’s been some attempts over the years but everyones missed the mark.

Planet coaster. Released on streaming, it’s just so relaxing.

Yeah, according to two third party companies that have no idea data to back up their claims. Journalists need to stop blindly believing these companies, they’re pseudo ads. But yes engagements probably have dropped that totally normal

Now I know someone is going to say oh thats just one comment out of hours and he said he doesn’t like blah blah… his 2016 videos had lots of joking about trump, anti hillary, pepe etc.

Besides the mentioned hating on NY, during last two elections he supported trump and republicans, bashed democrats and just leaned into that that whole saying something conspiracy related by saying “I dunno” which has been an almost dog whistle of support while trying to act open minded. I don’t believe he’s republican but his move to Texas and being anti government kinda points him in a certain direction.

Obviously that’s all fine of him to have those views. I just don’t like hearing it during a board repair or right to repair video.

Everyone loves him but essentially the same reason I can’t watch/listen to Louis Rossmann. I support the right to repair cause but his other views go way off.

Yeah that a bigger discussion around 4k masters. Usually I’ve found if the Blu-ray has a lot of grain it’s likely a newer scan more true to the film print. Some older ones were just upscaled from some older scan and some they do cleanup - some is fine like removing defects not in the print. Definitely a balancing act. If it’s real film grain I’m fine with it even if it’s excessive as long as it’s not added in for the sake of making an upscaled copy look more legit.

There used to be a site that tracked which copies were real but seems to have been abandoned.

Not really. A proper PWA is cached locally and assets loaded just once just like a normal app.

That makes no sense. Native apps are full of tracking and analytics garbage you can’t easily block not to mention ads. Most are just react native anyways if cross platform. PWAs you can at least block all the nasty stuff and honestly I doubt anyone would notice a difference in performance. I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience though.

Remux all the way. If the movie is grainy that’s just how it is. I understand some people like smoothing but I’d rather the full quality.

My problem is I don’t have time and recently faves have tried to get harder and harder or copy the dark souls pattern too much or try to be a rogue like. This has forced me to mainly stick to slower paced simulation games. Even strategy games take too much work to learn their systems and once you stop playing mid game forget about remembering how to play.

Nice, I didn’t know Amazon gave out locker keys. I’ll have to start keeping an eye out.

No, but the users still keep using it and the bigger advertisers are coming back. It’ll get sold off but love on. Too many people unwilling to let go.

Unfortunately probably a lot of CEOs realizing they can make drastic cost cutting and policy moves and get away with it. And sadly looks like it’s working.

Of course:

At the time of the hack, Reddit said hackers had used a “sophisticated and highly-targeted” phishing attack to get access to internal documents and data, including contact information for employees and advertisers. The company maintained that the hackers hadn’t accessed user data that wasn’t public.

The article says what’s likely in it as was previously disclosed from the hack.
