I own a couple actual vintage arcade machines and paid less for them than this. If you shop around you can find deals.

I also have one of these 1up cabs and it is definitely not like vintage. Software may be the same but it is using a modern monitor not a CRT. I think I paid around 300 for it several years ago. Not full size.

Fuckin SHUT UP!

We don’t want to give those MS assholes ANY ideas.

I’ve always been pretty bad at Tetris. This video was very engaging and entertaining. It tells a great story.

Consumers are getting fucked. Media companies will continue to make it worse while trying to improve their bottom line. How long until it is all pay per view at sky high prices that only keep going up?

I try to own my media in physical form as much as possible. But I don’t think it will be long until physical is not an available format. Or unaffordable, like vinyl is now.

We should have resisted and stopped the DMCA. We should stop all media being rental only. But we do not resist, we comply. We bend over and get fucked like the sheeple we are.

Until consumers take control of their government they will continue to take it up the ass from corporations. They count on you to comply.

American here. Just want to voice my support for this effort. Consumers are long overdue in striking back at companies making record profits from our necessities.

Give those hosers hell, eh.

I am glad to see this. Consumers need MORE of this kind of thing. Punish these businesses that are punishing us.

Maybe a true consumers union someday?

Not trying to be funny at all with this comment.

Blocking websites blocks speech. Speech is generally defined pretty broadly in the American court system and this seems pretty clear cut. If you can’t censor music or stop people from wearing certain clothes then I think blocking websites looks a lot like censorship of speech that should be free.

IANAL, but I think (and hope) there would be legal challenges to a law like this.

Do they really think they can limit free speech like that? How will this law stand up to legal challenges?

I enjoy Vector Pinball quite a bit. Have also been playing Chip Defense, Gridle and Lexica.

I decided to never make an in game purchase for one of the games I play the most. Only once did some random call me a “poor”, which made me laugh. One the stupider things I’ve heard someone say in that game.

Should this also be cross posted to the Steam magazine? I would do it but I don’t know how…or IF I can do it being on kbin…

A few notes:
Own music, do not rent.
I’m buying CDs from smaller labels directly. Cheaper than Scamazon sometimes. A couple examples: https://metalblade.indiemerch.com/collections/cds https://metalonmetalrecords.com/shop/
My library has loaned me many CDs over the years. I still have an external CD burner I can connect to my PC. Thank you, library.
Used media stores are awesome. Give them your business.

ETA: Corrected link to Metal On Metal records shop.

You want to ONLY play with your group or are you also wanting to play with others? Or both/either?

Another Sup Com fan.

Sup Com had a steep learning curve and a significant time commitment but it’s a LOT of fun.

This guarantees that I’ll never even TRY their service.

Brilliant move, Netfilx. Be sure to mention the in-game ads in all your marketing materials too. I’m sure people will FLOCK to your service in DROVES.

Your question assumes that users have a clue. Unsafe assumption.

Spaceshit

Awesome typo, bro.

Almost as good as my college typo and favorite of all time: relationshit

Isnt it legal for you too download the movies if you own physical copies?

No, $66 for one CD.

IDK what packs you’re talking about. Blanks? CR-Rs?

I’m still trying to buy physical CDs. It is getting more difficult, but they’re still around.

This shitshow will only get worse, NOT better.

This article makes Tiff look a lot like a corporate shill in government clothes. Blame labor until the corporate theft is over and then start to recognize it for what it is.

The near stranglehold YT has had on online video could not last forever. I think they’ll be the 800 pound gorilla for years to come, but I hope many smaller guys pick up speed as YT continues to throw its weight around. And I believe YT will continue to shit on users and eventually pay a high price for that.

How long until YT is totally paywalled?

I see that Proton allows payment via PayPal. Is it possible to pay via PayPal anonymously? I don’t use PP much at all so IDK.

What is community radio? Is that like public access TV?

I have Dorfromantik and play it occasionally. It is very relaxing, which can be nice. And very, very simple. So simple that I sort of hesitate to call it a game. There is some sort of scoring, depending on the mode you play. But I always pretty much ignored the scoring and didn’t even want to try to understand how it worked. It is fun just to make your little town, forest, river, train track, etc. So it is more like model railroading to me than a videogame. But highly structured and guided model railroading.
