I think mine run 20-40 dollars in electricity a year. I run maybe 20 containers on them.

It’s really awesome and stupid simple to setup in portainer. If you have any trouble or want a yaml just ask

Glad to help :)

I use optiplexes because you can change out internals. Also cheap’

It’s easy to do this via cloudflare and NPM by using a wildcard a name pointed towards your local IP.

Memos is a great idea because you can search tags and dates

That’s a cool device! Never heard of it before. Def not 100% what I imagined but this is still a cool find. Thank you for thinking of me a week later :)

That’s kind of cool but why not just share .torrent to your friends? Does this have rss-like function

Thanks! I had a different question and did ask it at ML. May I ask why the slrpnk one exists? It’s so small is it worth asking there?

Well I certainly didn’t mean to be rude or low quality

As I posted… I’ve tried that many times now :/

This sounds smart and helpful but may I ask how much work will be put into this workflow and how much time will it actually save you? If I can’t be bothered to search for the new paper typically it isn’t worth my time.

If you find the answer I’d also love to know! Zotero is awesome

I remember your post. How is that not related? And also lemmy is so small where else should we post? I messaged them for my post and they never responded

My post on using Tailscale on my servers gets removed but not this crap?

I checked my local backup server and I have two directories:

/home/share for backup files

/home/app data for backup appdata

My main server which unfortunately runs unraid is structured like

/mnt/user/array/media

/mnt/user/array/Nextcloud

/mnt/cache_ssd/appdata

I have this set { “action”: “accept”, “src”: [“group:admin”], “dst”: [“:”], },

What do you host on your backup servers?
I backup my files via rsync then have some essentially docker containers backed up and running in case the first one goes down :)

I bought one across the pond at a university used store then some at an e-recycler. I’m not surprised ebay is different. Hope you can find a fair price!

I think around $40 depending on the model is a fair price. I have two at home and three in the works for off site backups lol. They’re fun, frequently have surprising specs, and low energy draw

Why in recent years do YouTubers think insanely long videos equal good content? 14 hours is completely unnecessary. Also, not a big fan of him constantly saying in videos he’s not good and doesn’t know why people listen to him yap… much prefer raidowl or hardware haven

Yeah they don’t but is there some program that is good at OCR/HCR then I can script it into these?

I found some that do the opposite, take digital writing and format into a printed list.

This is a really cool idea! I’d be careful of anker quality. I heard it went downhill some since being bought out. I still use their chargers primarily though.
