If we want to go that route, the vocal minirity of the instance ruins it for the rest of them. A few bad apples spoils the bunch. Also, it should be noted many of the .ml accounts made in the wake of thr Reddit Exodus are lurkers or have swapped instances. So yes, .ml consistently has a worse community and a worse mod team compared to other instances, and I have no desire to interact with them.

Yes, however the .ml community as a whole is trash. Good users are closer to the exception than the rule.

Don’t be fooled he’s only going to hack tractors.

How would ending the carbon tax end up with then having less money. A tax directly affecting them ending would give them more money to work into their budget. This is a simple cause and effect. The only people with less money is the government, which lets be honest the carbon tax on heating homes was never a large portion of their budget.

The issue is those that cannot make the switch to electric also aren’t in the best spot to pay thr carbon tax. It’s a catch 22 for the poor. Ending the carbon tax for now is a good thing since those that could switched to electric and those that couldn’t won’t be punished.

Part time usually doesn’t receive any benefits. Contractors never receive benefits unless stated in the contract, severance is usually not included in said package but an early buyout might be.

It’s modern Canadian politics. When have we not been constantly stumbling over ourselves in the past 15 years.

Can’t wait for whatever policy to be implemented so poorly it ends up raising house prices.

Sounds good, thanks for not returning my points and then storming out when you lost. 👍

Rights and Freedoms. I have said many times, what you have as a right you have as a freedom, but you had as a freedom may not be a right. You had the freedom to own and operate firearms since the countries inception, but the current government is doing everything it can to remove the ability for its citizens to defend themselves, or any other lawful reason to use a firearm. To have such a right for many years only to take it away and make previously lawful citizens into criminal is a degredation of rights and freedoms. Good job also not discussing any other point and focusing on this one with nomenclature you didn’t understand.

Why yes, having everyday citizens be able to purchase firearms since the countries existence, only to them remove such ability and make anyone who keeps the property a criminal isn’t a degredation of rights and freedoms then you are blind.

Also, nice only attempting to refute one of my many points.

Next.

Not liking the current government isn’t anti-Canadian dumbass. Id argue loving the government and the way it treats the people is more anti-canadian than anything.

A government drowned in debt, barely able to defend itself, going through multiple crisis’, and attempting to restrict the rights and freedoms of it’s citizens is sickly. Much like how Victorian children are portrayed.

I get throwing a lot of words at someone impressed them, but it doesn’t work.

Here’s a bit about the degredation of Canadian gun rights and how gun control in Canada is historically used to control and hurt minority groups.

Section 33 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms is used to circumvent the rights of Canadians.

Innocent until proven guilty, not anymore.

And all the fuckery involved with the freedom convoy, using the emergencies act and freezing the finances of protesters.

This is only the beginning. The government will push more and more to control and restrict its citizens, and most of you will let them.

Lmao, not anti Canadian. I would love for Canada to be strong and thrive. Under the current government Canada has become a sickly Victorian child. High cost of living and the stripping of the rights of citizens has turned the current government corrupt and drunk with power. The only way to become strong again is to unrestrict citizens and spend less across the board.

Likewise, maybe you should remove one and go back to Reddit. Make Lemmy better for the rest of us.

It’s cool guys. This time the crazy fanatical, fight to the last man, death before surrender culture, known for killing prowess soldiers will be on our team.

Can’t wait for them to further ignore the aging infrastructure the government runs on and instead fund idiotic political nonsense.

Sounds like a fanatical woman ripe to be used for a terrorist plot.

And they can care all they want. To the common man this virus isn’t deadly, just another thing with flu like symptoms. The people who worry about covid are the same that worry about the the flu yet we don’t have multiple articles about it . At this point is just the Canadian government and media whining about covid.

Exactly, who cares anymore. It’s just the Canadian government whining about COVID.

People are dying of the seasonal flu too, it’s become apart of life. Why should we care anymore if it’s just become another seasonal flu.

People are dying from the flu too, at this point it’s become apart of life. Who cares anymore.

Bro who cares anymore, must be a slow news cycle if COVID is still being brought up.

Over 2,100 properties were self reported as being vacant in Toronto. No doubt in my mind many people lied and the number of vacant units sits around 3,500. Which isn’t a lot but would definitely help.

I’d rather both groups kick the bucket, but at this point we might see what the other group does.
