Calling Democrats and Republicans the same belittles LGBT, women, and minorities. If one side is literally trying to kill a few groups of people and the other side isn’t, and you say they are the same then you are ignoring the struggle that the groups are going through just to exist peacefully.
I’d say one party is looking to break down a lot of the struggles and houses some of the most progressive politicians while the other is an extremist religious party that is looking to violently take over the government with any chance it gets. How you don’t see that is beyond me.
